NCEL Webinar: Tackling Aquatic Invasive Species in Trade with Legislative Tools

We will be joined by Stephanie Elaine Otts, Director of the National Sea Grant Law Center, who will share about the Center’s new policy options report regarding the control of aquatic invasive species in trade. Lieutenant Robert Stross, Administrator of Wisconsin’s Commercial Fish and Aquatic Species in Trade Enforcement Program, will share Wisconsin efforts and barriers of enforcing existing legislation against invasive species in trade. This webinar will be moderated by Minnesota Representative Sydney Jordan who has sponsored legislation to control the European grass carp, one of America’s most destructive invasive species.
