Tess Madden

Tess Madden works as the Grants and Office Administrator at NCEL. She recently graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a masters in Environmental Science, concentrating in Environmental Law and Policy. During her time at Loyola, she worked with the Environmental Law & Policy Center conducting air quality monitoring and helped plan ELPC’s annual conference. Before switching careers, Tess worked in non-profits, specifically in museums and the arts in the Chicago area, and has a masters in International Heritage Management from the University of Birmingham in the UK.

Tess became interested in environmental science and legislation through birdwatching, which she enjoys doing on the weekends. She also likes playing basketball, hiking, reading, and visiting museums.
