Taeya Boi-Doku

Taeya is the Outdoor Opportunity Intern at NCEL. Taeya has lived up and down the Eastern Seaboard and calls both sides of the Atlantic Ocean home with her second in Ghana. She has completed a Bachelors in Environmental Analysis from Pitzer College. Her previous work seeks to understand her ancestors’ connections to land as a starting point for reimagining urban ecosystems. She has also worked in energy equity, cultural archival work, horticulture, and voter registration. She loves crocheting, writing poetry, and eating from her garden.
