Join NCEL in Salt Lake City!

NCEL is hosting a bipartisan energy and grid convening in Salt Lake City, Utah, from October 27-30.

Registration is limited to state legislators from the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Staffers are welcome if legislators are unable to attend.


About the Event

Join us for a regional convening of state legislators from Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming to learn about the electric grid and energy systems in the West.

Topics will include:

  • The fundamentals and state of the grid, transmission, and utilities in the West
  • The role of state legislators in advancing grid policy, energy affordability, and national security for the grid
  • Grid modernization and emerging grid issues, including energy storage, Virtual Power Plants, microgrids, nuclear, geothermal, siting & permitting, and more
  • Concrete policy options for state lawmakers to promote affordability, reliability, and resilience in the electric grid

Come together to collaboratively shape a Western grid for the future.
