The Justice40 Initiative has been in place since just days after President Biden’s inauguration in 2021. As the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the Inflation Reduction Act are implemented, it is evident that effective and robust compliance will rely on states. View the webinar to learn how states have prioritized equity and environmental justice in their climate efforts in recent years and what lessons learned can be applied to future legislation. Attendees heard from state legislators, state agency staff, federal officials, and legal staff on what’s worked well and what needs improvement.
